What Is MavenHaven?
For when words just aren't enough.
MavenHaven is for queer, trans, BIPOC, and allied folks—and caregivers—facing loss, transition, or end-of-life moments, especially when support has felt inaccessible, medicalized, or isolating.
We start with a free 15–30 minute consult to understand what you’re carrying and what you want to honor. Then we choose the right path: a standard commission, a collaborative legacy project, or an end-of-life retainer.
You’ll receive a piece that holds memory and meaning—plus a process that’s grief-informed, consent-based, and steady, without pressure to “perform” your grief.
MavenHaven is non-clinical and not therapy, but it is real support through creative work.

What I Offer:
  • Collaborative Legacy & Memorial Art Projects
A guided, story-centered process where we shape a piece from memory, symbols, and the feeling of the person or season you’re honoring. This is the core of MavenHaven—deeply personal, co-created, and held with clear boundaries.

    Starting at: $950

Best for: “I want it to feel like them,” or “I need help translating the story into art.”
  • Standard Legacy & Memorial Art Commissions
Smaller-scope custom commissions for when you already know what you want: a style, a vibe, a few key elements. Less collaborative structure, still made with care and intention.

    Starting at: $650

Best for: Gifts, anniversaries, altar pieces, or a focused memorial without a full guided process.
  • End-of-Life Retainer (Care + Creation)
A longer container (typically 3–6 months, or until death) combining a collaborative legacy piece with practical, grounded end-of-life support and gentle follow-through after the funeral.

    Pricing: Inquire

Best for: Families and individuals navigating an active end-of-life chapter and wanting consistent, steady support.
Christina (Chris) Lett
I do this work because death and loss touch all of us—and too many people are left to carry it alone. As a queer person of color, I’m especially committed to supporting folks who are often overlooked, yet expected to be strong without support.

Death has taught me how to live, how to love, and how to make meaning that lasts. MavenHaven is how I turn that into something practical and beautiful: care-centered legacy art that helps you honor what matters, in a way you can actually hold.

  • Consent-first: you decide what’s shared
  • Clear scope + timelines
  • Non-clinical, grief-informed care
  • Virtual + in-person (Midland, GA & Atlanta, GA areas)
