Support for grief, remembrance, and end-of-life moments—through art, story, and steady care.

MavenHaven offers grief-informed, non-clinical support for people moving through loss, transition, and end-of-life experiences. My work is especially rooted in care for queer, trans, BIPOC, and allied folks, as well as caregivers and families who want support that feels more personal, human, and consent-based.

Every offering begins with a free 15–30 minute consultation. We’ll talk about what’s happening, what you want to honor, and which kind of support fits best.

This work is not therapy or medical care. It is creative, relational, grief-informed support designed to help you hold memory, meaning, and care in a tangible way.

Standard Legacy & Memorial Art Commissions

A smaller-scope custom commission for when you already have a clearer idea of what you want.
This offering is still personal and carefully made, but it involves less guided collaboration than the full legacy project. You may already know the photo, mood, colors, subject, or style you want, and just need someone to bring it to life with care.

Best for:
  • memorial gifts
  • anniversary or remembrance pieces
  • portraits
  • altar art
  • simpler custom works with a defined concept

This may include:
  • portrait commissions
  • memorial illustrations or paintings
  • focused symbolic pieces
  • selected custom formats depending on project scope

Good fit if:
You already have a direction and want a meaningful custom piece without the deeper co-creative container.

How to choose the right fit
Choose Collaborative Legacy & Memorial Art if you want a more guided, story-rich process.
Choose Standard Commission if you already know what you want and want a more straightforward custom piece.
Choose the End-of-Life Retainer if you’re in an active end-of-life season and want ongoing support plus legacy creation.

If you’re not sure which one fits, that’s okay. The consultation is there to help us figure that out together.
What working together feels like
My approach is:
  • consent-first
  • grief-informed
  • non-clinical
  • clear about scope and boundaries
  • warm, collaborative, and grounded
You do not have to “perform” your grief here. You do not need the perfect words. We start with what matters and build from there.
